Modern Slavery Statement

The directors of Bannerbridge Ltd consider the development of a comprehensive company policy on modern slavery to be essential to ensure ethical practices, protect human rights and promote responsible business conduct.

Modern slavery usually entails forced labour, human trafficking, debt bondage and other forms of exploitation. The management of Bannerbridge Ltd is committed to o zero-tolerance approach towards this practice and respects human rights and has a policy of preventing and addressing any instances of modern slavery within its operations and supply chains.

This zero-tolerance policy applies to all employees, contractors, suppliers and business partners associated with the company and ensures that the policy's principles are extended throughout the entire value chain.

A risk assessment undertaken in 2022 to identify potential areas of vulnerability within the company's operations and supply chains found no evidence of modern slavery, including supply chains in the far east. Most of the company's suppliers are global manufacturers from the USA and Europe and they publish their own policies to deal with modern slavery. Nevertheless the management exercises robust due diligence processes to assess and monitor suppliers and business partners for compliance with the policy. This includes conducting regular audits, engaging with suppliers to understand their practices, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.

Bannerbridge has also developed informal training programs to educate employees about modern slavery and its indicators and has provided guidance on how to identify, report, and address any suspected cases of modern slavery. Management also raises awareness through internal communications, workshops and other channels to ensure a culture of vigilance against modern slavery. This includes establishing channels for reporting any concerns or suspicions related to modern slavery and encourage employees to report their suspicions without fear of retaliation and ensure confidentiality. Specific individuals and departments are responsible for receiving and investigating reports and outlining the steps that will be taken to address any reported incidents.

The company also has collaborated with relevant external stakeholders, such as NGOs, industry associations and multistakeholder initiatives, to shore knowledge, exchange best practices and contribute to collective efforts in combating modern slavery.

The company has also implemented ongoing monitoring mechanisms to track the effectiveness of the policy and its associated actions. The policy is regularly reviewed to ensure its alignment with changing legal requirements, industry standards, and emerging best practices. Feedback from employees, suppliers, and other stakeholders to continuously improve the policy's implementation is also encouraged.

The company's actions and progress in addressing modern slavery ore communicated through periodic reports. This helps demonstrate the company's commitment to transparency and accountability.

A company policy on modern slavery needs to be supported by robust implementation, continuous monitoring, and regular updates to make o meaningful impact in eradicating modern slavery from our business operations and supply chains.
